Tell us a bit about yourself—what do you do?
I’m studying the second year of Journalism at Universidad Carlos III. I am also involved in other activities thanks to the opportunities that Madrid offers, but mainly I focus on my university studies.

Why did you choose MasterHome Residence for your stay in Madrid?
I was coming from Portugal and looking for student accommodation in the center of Madrid. I started searching online and found MasterHome. As soon as I arrived, I understood that the concept of this accommodation was different from other residences, as the average age was higher. There were residents preparing for Public Exams, Master’s degrees, and Postgraduate studies, among others. This seemed positive to me because I could be in a quieter environment where I could study and enjoy the comfort of the facilities.

Did your first impressions meet your expectations?
They exceeded my expectations because I was expecting something average, but when I entered the Residence, I realized this was not the case. The services they offer are fantastic. My biggest fear was how I would handle social relationships, but this was quickly resolved because I integrated very well with the other residents and formed wonderful lifelong friendships in this residence. It’s the people you’re with who make you feel at home.

Over time, what do you find in MasterHome that makes you feel comfortable?
I’ve been at MasterHome for two years, during which I have met many people. The most important thing for me during these two years is that I have never lacked anything; whenever I needed something, I had the help of my fellow residents and the Residence staff, who are fully committed to supporting everyone. I’ve also noticed that you can get a lot of benefits from your stay here because you meet people from all walks of life (public exam students, postgraduate students, MIR students, and many international students). MasterHome Residence is a place where nothing is missing. That comfort and convenience are what truly make you feel at home.
